“It was my house, as people say, a family nest”. The story of Liudmyla’s family from Makariv

Liudmyla lived in her house in Makariv with her daughter, grandson, and old mother, who had lost sight. The occupiers drove a tank right into the house and kept shooting until it was completely caught by fire. The traces from the tank are still visible in the garden. It’s good that the family was no longer there.
Liudmyla was evacuated by a man who came to her neighbor. The day before, Liudmyla had a dream of an acquaintance who had died a long time ago, and in the dream, he was hurrying her to get ready. So when the opportunity to escape appeared, she knew it was a sign.

Liudmyla and her husband started building their house together, he, unfortunately, died of cancer, never having completed this house for his daughters. Her husband begged her not to sell this land plot to raise the daughters there.
For 14 years, Liudmyla was building everything on her own, while raising her daughters, and later her grandson, and taking care of her mother.
Before winter, she finally made a bright, cozy bedroom for herself and installed an in-floor radiant heat so that her blind mother would not be cold moving around the house.

Liudmyla admits that at first, they thought of doing nothing at all when they came back to Makariv, but then they noticed that raspberries and currants, the garden trees are about to bear, and the vegetable garden would have to be cultivated. So they decided to come back to their land.
All profits from the FROLOV HEART collection were transferred to set up a prefabricated house for Liudmyla’s family.
