Story of the Skorozvon family

In their own family nest, Serhii lived with his wife and 16 year old son. With the full-scale russian invasion, his wife evacuated to the Netherlands and later began working there to help her family, even if from a distance.

Serhii works in the local forestry, and his son is a high school student.

Their house, on the outskirts of Makariv, is right next to the road that the russian troops drove in through. Serhii hoped they would get lucky and that the building would remain intact. However, on March 28th, four days before the liberation of Makariv a shell hit the house, burning everything to the ground.

The house was big, shared by two families. Restoring it is a task that will take more than one year. Serhii believes that it will be rebuilt but understands that it will take a long time and will require great effort. However, it is necessary to start at least with the small things. For this reason the family needs to live nearby as soon as possible.

We are raising $20,000 for a modular NEST for the Skorozvon family.

Thanks to the contribution from OLX Ukraine, we have installed a 4-module NEST-house for the Skorozvon family
